MySQL in a Nutshell

Title: MySQL in a Nutshell ( 2 edition) Author: Russell J.T. Dyer Publisher: O'Reilly Media Pages: 561 ISBN: 978-0-596-51433-4 Rating: 9

MySQL statements and functions are grouped by usage and from there they are listed in alphabetical order. For each statement and function, the syntax and explanation is provided along with examples of their use. Since the author is intricately involved in this web site, we'll leave it to others to comment further on this book. You can find reviews on this page. This book has a chapter on MySQL Replication which not only provides a reference to replication statements, it also explains replication concepts and related SQL states. And it provides a tutorial for setting up replication.

MySQL columns: everywhere I look are tables and columns; life is filled with databases of information to be ordered and grouped.
